日本の美意識や文化に回帰しながらも、新たな価値の発見や表現の創造を模索、実験しながら映像制作を行っている。国や地域が抱える社会問題やマイノリティとマジョリティの関係性などへの関心も深い。

　While Ryo takes a new look at Japan's unique aesthetics and culture, he makes videos through his exploration and experiment to discover the new values as well as the creation of expression.He is also deeply interested in the social issues faced by countries and regions and the relationship between minorities and majorities.
